My team and I were awarded 'Best Overall' out of 13 student groups in Silicon Valley. We won $25,000 worth of advertising for our client NET30 in the Silicon Valley Business Journal. This competition consisted of groups from different colleges to create a marketing campaign that consisted of a marketing analysis, a $25,000 budget, and creative execution.
The Create-A-Thon contest is held annually by SVBJ in order to help promote small local businesses in Silicon Valley through a student-led marketing campaign. Students from various colleges from Santa Clara county were paired with a business. I was able to lead a team paired with the non-profit, Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen, in winning the category of 'Best Creative' advertisements. It was a very exciting and momentous contest. The following newspaper and digital ads were created in collaboration with other SJSU students, Andrew-Michael Lucido and Hieu Tran.
