Case Study
ICFW - Farmworkers App
Business Goal:
Create a mobile app experience that helps undocumented farmworkers access local aid services during COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
Initial Problem Discovery
1. COVID-19 has reached a global pandemic warning and ‘Shelter In Place’ order has taken effect.
2. Farmworkers are considered essential workers, but many are undocumented and don’t have access to government aid.
3.Due to the importance of their working providing nutrition for our country we sought out to create an app to provide them and their families access to existing aid programs.
This project was a part of Adobe Creative Jam Contest under the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative Competition. Their incentive was to create a volunteer app for a real-world Covid-19 issue. They gave us the branding guideline for the app, but the UIUX design was designed in 3 days.
